[He sits heavily down on the couch, holding the plate out for her to take.]

Couldn't say I'm in the mood for it today, anyway.

Good, cause I'd hate to turn you down. Flirting is fine but I'd... [She waves her hand and settles beside him, snagging another slice]

What a pair we make, eh?

You're not in the shape for it. Mentally. And that's fine. [She waves her slice of bread and then takes a bite.] That's part of being a good pair.

I'm still a good cook, though, aren't I?

Well of course. Why wouldn't you be?

[He tosses her a wink.]

Just shows that I haven't lost it all yet.

Yes, dear Alfie, your cooking is still fantastic. Nothing lost. [She smiles fondly]

[He finds her hand, squeezing it, and then just holding it in both of his.]

I barely notice the puns now, actually; they seem so natural.

[Her eyes sparkle at that and she tucks back a curl, avoiding his gaze] That's how I get you. Relentless puns until you get so used to them, one slips out your own mouth. Then you're infected
